Share the benefits of Clover with fellow business owners and earn rewards for successful referrals.
To participate in the referral program, you must have an active Clover account that is currently processing transactions.
There are two easy ways to refer a merchant:
- Contact your Business Consultant: they can help you submit a referral and guide you through the process.
- Complete our Clover Merchant Referral Form submit your referral online in just a few minutes.
After you submit a referral, the merchant will receive an email from Clover asking them to confirm that they would like to hear from us. Once they opt in*, a Business Consultant will contact them within 24 hours to learn more about their business needs and discuss how Clover can help support their growth.
*The referred merchant must consent to receive communications from Clover before outreach can begin.
Referral Bonus
Referral eligibility
To be eligible for a referral bonus, both the referrer and referred merchant must be based and located in the U.S. or Canada and remain active at the time of payout.
The merchant you refer must:
- Be newly approved and activated.
- Process a minimum card payment of $20.
Program overview
- Earn a referral bonus when your referral starts processing payments. Bonus amounts are based on the merchant's signed volume.
- There’s no limit to the number of merchants you can refer—the more successful referrals you make, the more rewards you can earn.

Bonus payout
- Earn up to $800 based on the referred merchant's signed volume. See Terms & Conditions for complete eligibility and payout details.
- The referral reward is deposited within 90 days after the referred merchant begins processing.
